Hopefully through the expansion of our growing area we will be able to provide more flowers for local events and weddings.
This Autumn I hope to host some wreath making workshops which will include foraging on the farm and a glass or two of mulled cider produced by our local Napton Cidery.
Spring will bring new growth and bunches of tulips and ranunculus will soon be available. A new Season of selling homegrown flowers will be upon us.
With a background in Fine Art I would love to pursue any project that would involve floral design, whether creating large scale floral installations for events or weddings or smaller more intimate arrangements within someone's home.
I feel this is just the beginning and there are so many directions that growing flowers will take me. Flowers have the power to put a smile on someones face and to connect people together. I can't wait to share what I have learned and continue to learn on a daily basis. There is a wonderful community of British flower growers out there and I look forward to becoming part of that community.
